Project: City of Santa Fe Planning On-Call

Wilson & Company was contracted by the City to provide on-call planning services. Under the contract, these services included zoning review (review of building permit applications for zoning code compliance), development plan review, preliminary zoning reviews, lot line adjustments/lot consolidations/lot splits, and additional duties. Ben was the project manager, responsible for management of all tasks, the project budget/invoicing, and coordination with City staff.

Over the course of the contract, the City mostly assigned zoning review to Wilson & Company staff, mostly commercial zoning review. Ben was directly responsible for nearly all zoning review assignments. He also managed Wilson & Company planners who redesigned the Planning & Land Use Department’s 20-some application forms. The Wilson & Company team revamped the applications to make them consistent in format and language, more user friendly, and conforming to City code and policies. (These forms have not yet been adopted by the City.)
